kazahaya (given) kudo (family) has supernatural powers, allowing him to see the "memories" of a person or thing when he touches them, similar to psychometry. he also seems to possesses empathetic abilities, being able to absorb people's emotions, as well as their memories. on at least one occasion, he was able to channel the present visual perspective of another person.

+ heightened sense of smell, vision
+ his sister can see the future as opposed to kazahaya who can see the past but the method seems to be implied as similar (touch)
+ he left the secluded clan/cult that wanted to use them/and had been using them, realizing if he did not leave the clan/cult would kill one or the other of them
+ that said, after kei was abducted as a child and she returned, she has never been the same and has distinct possessive and dark tendencies towards kazahaya (think yandere territory)
+ kazahaya does NOT want to be found so he avoids cameras/recording devices like the plague and gets very anxious/stressed if there's a chance it has happened.


legal drug starts with rikuo finding kazahaya passed out in the snow. they end up working at 'green drug' together, kazahaya joining rikuo under kakei who runs the place. their normal job is drugstore stuff (need a hangover remedy? gotchu.) their other job is odd errands for kakei that are typically of the supernatural variety (if you're familiar with xxxholic, similar to the errands watanuki might run, though more of kazahaya and rikuo's tend to end poorly or almost.)
